Friday we learned third quarter GDP was negative. Add inflation to the figures released and it was REALLY negative. You think that was news? Wait till fourth quarter GDP figures are issued. And remember that GDP figures do not account for inflation!
Not to mention GDP is a poor measurement of US economic activity (remember Mark Skousen's Structure of Production anyone?).
