What is different about tonight? What makes Good Friday different from any other day, that was or will be? A God on the cross: that ghastly and tragic paradox; that is my only theology.
Tonight, my Lord and my God died for me. He suffered and died - was murdered - because of my sins. Even just for my sins: His love is so great, if I were the only person to ever have existed on earth, He still would have done this:
